A retrofit assessment involves an assessor performing an in- depth inspection of your property to find out what changes are needed to make it more energy efficient. As part of the assessment the assessor will talk to you about your plans for the home and any constraints on getting work done.

A Retrofit Assessment
What Is It?
An extensive evaluation of a property including the required elements of an EPC.
It based on the following additional requirements:
- An evaluation of occupancy.
- An evaluation of energy using software known as RdSap.
- A property ventilation assessment.
It usually takes 1-2 hours to complete and can be for various reasons.
How to Qualify for ECO4 with energygrants.io

I had heard about these grants but was a little sceptical until I saw an article in my local newspaper about this company. So I took the plunge and called them. Their surveyor came round explained everything clearly and handled all my paperwork. The wall insulation wad done by their installers LMF and they even did my attic. There was a small problem with the install which I called UK Energy Grants about but they sorted this within 24 hours. I highly recommend this company for grants.
